Some fishing reports have very little to report: “NOT A BITE” sits above “BUT I DID SEE A TURTLE,” with a turtle’s head peeking above the water. The distressed brown lettering suits the guy who can spend an entire morning watching a motionless line and still come home with something to talk about.

You know the guy who packs enough tackle for every possible condition, picks his spot carefully, and gets outperformed by whatever is swimming past the bank. He’ll recognize this particular version of a successful outing: no fish, no photos worth bragging about, but a confirmed turtle sighting. Avoid High Heat: Low heat is your friend. High heat shrinks shirts faster than your credibility after someone pulls up photographic evidence.

Don't use bleach - harsh chemicals fade colors faster than your memory of what actually happened
Skip fabric softeners - they mess with the shirt's texture (and we like our texture how we like our stories: authentic)
Don't iron directly on the design - if you must iron, turn it inside out or use a pressing cloth. Low heat only, because melted graphics tell no tales.
